The Chief Executive Officer and founder, Ms. Jo-Anne Archibald, has over thirty years of board governance, corporate secretarial, investor relations and consumer packaged goods marketing experience.  

Jo-Anne was President for eight years from 2011 to 2019, at one of Canada’s largest outsourced Corporate Secretarial Services’ consulting firms located in Toronto.  Previously, from 2005 to 2011, she was Senior Vice President at TMX Equicom Group Inc., which was a wholly owned subsidiary of TMX Group (operations include TSX) where she handled investor relations and corporate secretarial clients.  Jo-Anne was also the Director of Shareholder Services managing global retail shareholder initiatives in the office of the Corporate Secretary at Sun Life Financial for five years. In addition, Jo-Anne has held senior consumer packaged goods marketing roles with Nestlé Canada, Second Cup Coffee Co., Campbell’s, and Loblaws.

Jo-Anne has a MBA from Western University’s Ivey Business School and an H. BSc. from the University of Guelph.  Jo-Anne is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) from the Rotman School of Business.  She is a Fellow (FCIS) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), and she has been on the Editorial Committee for Canada’s “Corporate Governance Quarterly” magazine since 2002.  Jo-Anne was also an Ontario director at the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) from 2006 - 2011.

Jo-Anne is currently an active financially literate Corporate Director who makes a tangible contribution to client boards. Jo-Anne also can act as the outsourced recording secretary or Corporate Secretary for client companies.

During Jo-Anne’s career, she has been a Corporate Director and most notably a Corporate Secretary for numerous private and public companies in mining, high tech, cannabis, blockchain, retail, and oil & gas listed on the Toronto, New York and London Stock Exchanges, where she has attended over one hundred Board and Committee meetings annually.
